# Ping

> Check connectivity to the LaserStream gRPC API with a simple ping-pong mechanism.

## Authorizations

**x-token** `string` *required*

Your Helius API key. You can get one for free in the
[dashboard](https://dashboard.helius.dev/api-keys).

## Message

This method takes an empty request and returns a simple pong response to confirm connectivity.

## Response

**pong** `boolean`

Always returns true if the connection is successful.
