# Toggle Webhook

> Enable or disable a webhook without deleting it. Use this to re-enable auto-disabled webhooks or temporarily pause deliveries.

## Request Parameters

**webhookID** `string` *required*

The webhook ID — a UUIDv4 that uniquely identifies the webhook.

**active** `boolean` *required*

Set to `true` to enable the webhook or `false` to disable it.

## Re-enabling Auto-Disabled Webhooks

Helius automatically disables webhooks with a high endpoint failure rate. When this happens, you can re-enable the webhook using this endpoint after fixing the underlying issue with your endpoint.

After re-enabling, the webhook enters a **24-hour grace period** during which it will not be automatically disabled again. This gives you time to verify that your endpoint is healthy.
